Chairman
Indoctrimat was founded in June 2002 by Brian Baglow. Brian has worked in the PR and communications sector for over ten years, with some of the most innovative and highly respected companies in the interactive and mobile worlds.
Before founding Indoctrimat, Brian worked as the Global Communications Manager for mobile games pioneer Digital Bridges. Working with the media from the earliest days of WAP and SMS gaming, he was instrumental in introducing the entire concept of mobile gaming to large areas of the media. Brian also chose his own job title, which is why it sounds so impressive.
Prior to Digital Bridges, Brian was the UK PR Manager for Take 2 Interactive and the International PR Manager for Rockstar Games, one of the world's leading publishers of videogames. While he did not choose either of these job titles, they were still fairly cool and he can now truthfully claim, "J'etais un Rockstar."
Brian began his career in PR and marketing as the Head of Propaganda and Indoctrination, with UK-based developer DMA Design, the company responsible for Lemmings, Grand Theft Auto, etc. and one of the most highly respected game developers in the world. Again, Brian was allowed to pick his own job title and it remains one of his favourites.
Before becoming involved in the high-flying, executive world of PR and communication, Brian was a programmer, for nine long years. From this he gained a broad highly technical background and realised the fundamental truth that programmers are rarely, if ever, let out of the building, while PR people buy drinks for a living.
Brian's goal in founding Indoctrimat was to create an agency which provided expert pr, marketing and communication services, was flexible and responsive enough to work with every company and which avoided the generic approach, navel gazing and expensive services of the major corporate firms.
Over the past two years Indoctrimat has worked with many of the leading companies across the interactive, mobile, music and online sectors. It's true. We were the tiny acorn, which has grown into the ultra-cool, giant Japanese-style battle robot.
Why not take a wander through the Endorsements section and see what some of the clients and journalists we have worked with, have said about us...
