[IDMT] Somewhat Creative & Slightly Entrepreneurial

The Indoctrimat staff were absent from the office yesterday after an unexpected e-mail at lunchtime informed us we were a finalist in the 2005 CEC Creative Entrepreneurs Awards.

Apart from the hilarious, high-speed Benny Hill like preparations and the puzzled searching of e-mail archives ("Did we enter then...?") It made for a lovely afternoon out.

While we didn't win -- 4C Design picking up the award and the G5 Mac -- we were in the 8 finalists, from a membership of over 1500 companies.  Which was nice.

Plus the free beer was Hoegaarden and the canapes were acceptable.

Next year, we plan to somehow be much more entrepreneurial, dammit.

Feeling kind of left out...

I-play, Indiagames, Informa, Play-It and Infospace are all:

1.  involved in the mobile games sector
2.  have an 'i' in their name
3.  have a nice red dot logo

I'm damned if Indoctrimat is going to be diferent.

I always thought our logo was too 'spiky'...

Look & Feel

Well, several hours worth of poking, prodding and messing around last night resulted in the glorious new colour scheme and delightfully understated design you see before you.  I *like* typepad.  The banner and pics will be updated as I get new versions, but hopefully this will be the start of a long-term and lovely Indoctriblog.

Another Day Another Weblog

It's all very exciting.  The new Indoctrimat site is live.  We're working on some of the more exciting features, including the press area, release archive, gallery, mailing list, forum and obligatory singles/dating area.

However an executive decision was made to move from LiveJournal, home of the previous Indoctriblog over to TypePad, which was recommended by a number of knowledgeable and sexy people.

So here's the first entry.  A great many more will be added in the very near future, most in the 'Press Release category.  There are quite a few of those recently released and pending.

The look and feel of the blog will hopefully change as well to reflect the ideology of the website.
