Firstly I would like to thank the parents and coaches for their effort and support not just today but for the whole season. As Mini Coordinator I have seen the development of the boys and girl this year and all players should be extremely proud of their efforts, as I am!!! Craig
On the playing side the P6/7 side demonstrated again their ability to play as a team and with some great individual performances. The close game with Morgan just went the other way and that was then a 3rd / 4th play off with Brechin. A close game but maybe the minds were now on next Saturdays match against the parents and coaches!
The P4/5 side finished the season on a high, the 3rd game against Blairgowrie finishing 2-2 then it was all going to be down to the last games for both Kinross and Blairgowrie. Kinross won 6-1 against Brechin and Blairgowrie won 7-3 against Strathmore so Points of 10, the same goal difference and so it came down to tries scored. Blairgowrie scored 20 tries but Kinross had scored 24! Deserved champions and all should be very proud of their efforts. Lets see as many of you down next Saturday for the Barbeque and Awards.
