A major round up of Dare diary entries to kick off this week. The date of the final awards has been announced as the 18th August, so the teams have approximately 14 working days left.
The entries went up towards the end of last week on Dare to be Digital's own site. Sadly SG was off, having barbecues lounging around beer gardens and acting like it had not a care in the world. Hey again all - Week Seven draws to a close as our team is baked in the blistering heat, and although my optimism is still at its maximum, I fear some of Meta's abilities may have to be cut. But then again, for a magnetic stomping robot who can run, jump, magnetize the Metalheads to him and forge blocks using pure magnetic energy, you'd think he wouldn't NEED much else...
Week 7 – Is it really week 7 already..!?! Not to worry, all seems to be going well in the Spaceport camp.
Last week (scorchio!) saw Nick and I journey to an undisclosed studio…actually it was courtesy of Edinburgh University (thanks!)…to record several actors providing the voices of the various Spaceport characters, which went really well...

Seems like I get less and less time to write a Dare Diary entry, but we still have a little time left to sort everything out, so - here we go!...
Fuelled with cookies, sweets, lollipops and various caffeinated beverages, CodeMonkeys have been working hard and Join Us! is shaping up nicely. The city buildings have all been modelled and textured and we now have a sizeable city with people walking around, albeit with a few frame rate issues...
