UK Sites Victorious In Global Web Awards

Not strictly a games related story, but one certainly well worth noting.  Last week's Webby Awards highlighted the UK as a hotbed of interactive and online goodness.  UK sites picked up 26 awards from the 119 categories on offer.

Major sites like the BBC and FT picked up multiple awards, while other homegrown talent like Moo, Wagamama and London Transport also gathered accolades and silverware.

Hurrah for the UK.
