Hunted Cow

September 25, 2007

Introducing - Hunted Cow - MMO Developer

Huntedcow_preview One of the more interesting results of the Edinburgh Interactive Festival's various 'projects', was finding another games developer based here in Scotland.

Hunted Cow is based in Elgin in the chilly North of the country.  For our English readers, that's a three day journey by dog sled north of Inverness, about 18 miles from Reykjavik.  Not far from Glasgow Prestwick airport...

The company is a developer focused on the Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) sector and has already released a number of games including online chess, Gothador and Sigma Storm.

How the devil we missed them since they've been there, pumping out games since 2003, we just don't know.  Probably something to do with the focus on the central belt and the fact that none of the researchers we sent further north than Aberdeen ever returned.

We've sent a whole bunch of questions to Hunted Cow, along with requests for logos and pictures and a general update on their likes, dislikes, turn ons and general outlook on life.  We'll post it as soon as we get something back.

In the meantime, please extend your normal, warm welcome to Hoofmaster, Cowboy and the Hunted Cow team...
