While accountants and business advistors tend to be quite carefully hidden in the games industry, McCabes in Edinburgh has quite a high profile within the games industry. They've worked with many of the companies here in Scotland and Jeff Meek has been involved with TIGA for several years.
McCabes have now announced a merger with Glasgow-based firm French Duncan, becoming French Duncan incorporating McCabes. While it's not the catchiest name out there (we see a corporate identity opportunity looming!), it does make the firm one of top ten companies in Scotland in terms of size.
The new company will have offices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
